Now is the times to get to the lanes and practice. Look online at the bowling tips. Utube has some. You can find info for days. Also, look into getting someone to work with you. I drive for 5 hours to have Carol Norman work with me. She videos my lessons, and when I can see what I'm doing wrong, it's easier to fix it. I'm sure you will enjoy the adult leagues. Let me know how you are doing, my friend.

You join a local league and you will fill out a USBC card. Once you bowl 21 games in year, you can bowl in Nationals. There is a Women's and Men's Nationals. Just check with your bowling house. They will know who bowls the nationals, and there are always teams that need someone to bowl. I'm sure someone there can get you on a team. Then you have to have your transportation there and hotel reservations. There is a fee to bowl in the tournament too. Lots of fun, and meet new people every year. It's always a fun trip for us. You can bowl in either or both tourneys. They are held in a different place every year. Every 3rd year it is held at the bowling stadium in Reno.
